Ensure that the quality of swimming pool water is checked, controlled, documented by an external organization (pH-value, chlorine%) according to nationally approved standards

Ensure that, wherever possible, products come from sustainably harvested and/or sustainably produced sources and, if relevant, are certified and labelled under certification schemes that include biodiversity criteria

Equip refrigerators, cold stores, heating cupboards and ovens with intact draught excluders

Find out how guests have used natural resources over the past year (to get trends about the types of visitors and actions can be taken) and the type of activities they do

Front desk agents should practice social distancing including utilizing every other workstation to ensure separation between employees whenever applicable and possible

Give preference to suppliers that take back their packaging

Have equipment regularly maintained and inspected. Consider a routine inspection of all machines and equipment, e.g. monthly

Implement a system to measure the temperature of visitors

Implement a towel and linen change system. Towels and linen will only be changed upon request

Improve waste collection by adding compartments to room service trolleys for different types of wastes.
